ANALISIS SISTEM PENGELOLAAN SUMBER DAYA UNIT REKAM MEDIS DI RSU MITRA SEJATI MEDAN DALAM MENINGKATKAN EFISIENSI DAN EFEKTIVITAS PELAYANAN PADA PASIEN

Abstract

One of the non-medical services available in hospitals is medical records. Medical records are an important component in managing hospital services. In order for a hospital to run according to professionals in the medical and health administration fields, the hospital must have benchmarks to ensure quality improvement at every level, the implementation of a medical record system that has good quality and is effective certainly requires adequate support, including human resources, facilities. and infrastructure, SOPs and medical record flow that meet standards. The aim of this research is to analyze the resource management system of the medical records unit at RSU Mitra Sejati Medan in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of services to patients. This type of research is qualitative analytical research with a case study design. The informants in this study were 7 people consisting of 5 hospital employees and 2 patients. Data analysis in this research was carried out by data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the research show that the number of human resources (HR) in the medical records unit at RSU Mitra Sejati Medan is 7 people and there are 5 people who have abilities in the field of medical records units, while the other 2 officers have different backgrounds but have the same abilities in providing services. in the medical records unit because they received routine training given to officers from the hospital. The facilities and infrastructure at RSU Mitra Sejati Medan for carrying out medical record services are good, but there are still several suggestions and infrastructure that need to be repaired, rejuvenated and added, such as printers and photocopying machines. There is a budget in the medical records unit at RSU Mitra Sejati Medan which is specifically for operations such as the budget for printing equipment, where with the existing budget, RSU Mitra Sejati Medan always strives to improve the quality of medical record services in the future.
