ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN KUALITAS MUTU PELAYANAN KEPERAWATAN DI RUMAH SAKIT UMUM DAERAH dr. SLAMET GARUT

Abstract

The quality of nursing services as an indicator of the quality of health services is one of the determining factors for the image of service institutions in the eyes of the public. This happens because nurses are the largest professional group and are closest to patients. One of the benchmarks for the quality of nursing services is the skills of nurses in providing satisfactory nursing care for patients and professional nursing services that support access and continuity of services. This study aims to determine the relationship between professionalism of nurses, skills of nurses, individual characteristics of nurses with the quality of nursing services at dr.Slamet Hospital, Garut district. This study used an analytic design with a cross sectional approach, with a sample of 104 people. Using primary data (questionnaire of nurse professionalism, nurse skills, individual characteristics of nurses and the quality of nursing services). Data analysis used Chi-Square followed by multivariate logistic regression analysis. The results showed that there was a relationship between nurse skills (p=0.001), nurse professionalism (p=0.010) and the quality of nursing services. The results of multivariate analysis between variables with the quality of nursing services, namely the most dominant nurse skills OR = 105,000. The conclusion of the study is there is a relationship between nurse skills, nurse professionalism and the quality of nursing services. The more skilled a nurse is in nursing care, the higher the quality of nursing service to patients.
