Abstract

Nursing services as a major component of hospital services still face various challenges in quality control and management effectiveness, mainly because the existing control system is not yet digitally and in real-time. Digital transformation in healthcare services encourages the need for innovation in nursing management control systems based on Android applications that can improve efficiency, accuracy, team coordination, and data-based managerial decision-making. The purpose of this study is to produce an innovative model for nursing service management control systems based on Android applications that is practical, efficient, and effective. The research method uses a waterfall research and development (R&D) model with a mixed method approach. Results: Qualitative analysis concluded that the development of an application-based nursing internal control system is needed to improve the quality of nursing services.
