Good physical condition for athletes is one of the supporting factors so that all types of activities can run optimally and are useful to support achievement. The effectiveness of physical exercise can be influenced by several factors, one of which is the selection of exercise time. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between morning and evening training on V̇O2max levels and the muscle mass of PSHT fighters in Semarang City. This study uses a research design case-control, began by identifying the group that did the training in the morning (the control group) and the group that did the training at evening (the case group). Based on the sample calculation formula, a total of 34 fighters were obtained, then they were divided into two equal groups with 17 fighters in each group. In both groups, measurements were made at V̇O2max and muscle mass use Multi Stage Fitness (Bleep Test) and Bioelectrical Impedance analsysis (BIA). Statistical test results Independent T-Test morning and night training with V̇O2max obtained value p significant (p-value 0.001) and the results of statistical tests of morning and evening training with muscle mass obtained value p significant (p-value 0.001). So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between morning and evening evening on levels V̇O2max and the muscle mass of PSHT fighters in Semarang City.
