PERAN INDUSTRI BATIK TULIS RAHAYU DALAM MENINGKATKAN PENDAPATAN DAN KESEJAHTERAAN MASYARAKAT DITINJAU DARI PERSPEKTIF EKONOMI ISLAM DI DESA SUMBERGEDONG KABUPATEN TRENGGALEK

Abstract

The existence of a batik craft business around the scope of the community includes two sectors that both provide benefits so that the role of the batik craft business can be said to be large according to the community. The focus of this research is (1) What is the role of the batik business in increasing income in Sumbergedong Village, Karangan Trenggalek District and (2) What are the obstacles and solutions for the batik business in increasing people's income. This study aims to provide an overview regarding the role of craft businesses as a form of increasing the income of the people of Sumbergedong Village. The method applied in this research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Research data were obtained through interviews with batik craft entrepreneurs, batik workers, and the results of observations carried out by researchers. Secondary data was obtained from the Sumbergedong Village Head's office. The results of this study show that the development of the batik craft business with reference to production, labor, and marketing has increased which tends to improve. The role of the batik craft business for the community is increasing in harmony with business development as well as increasing welfare. The job opportunities provided by this batik craft business are able to provide increased income that can meet the needs of people's lives. So from here, the existence of the role of the batik craft business can increase the welfare of the people in Sumbergedong Village.
