Budaya Politik dan Partisipasi Masyarakat dalam Sistem Politik Indonesia

Abstract

This research examines political culture in Indonesia, focusing on its influence on community participation, forms of political culture, and challenges to its development. Political culture in Indonesia is divided into three: parochial, subject, and participant, which reflects the level of awareness and involvement of society. Political cultural orientation includes cognitive, affective and evaluative aspects, which influence political participation. The main challenges include inequality in political education, low political participation, and political polarization due to social media. Efforts to address these challenges include increased political education and management of social media influence. A deep understanding of political culture is important to strengthen democracy in Indonesia.
