Abstract

This study discusses the reform of the absolute competence of the State Administrative Court (PTUN) based on Law Number 30 of 2014 concerning Government Administration. This research aims to identify fundamental changes in PTUN competencies and analyze their implications for the legal system in Indonesia. Using a normative juridical approach, this research finds an expansion of the PTUN's competence in examining factual actions, abuse of authority, administrative efforts and discretion. This reform not only expands the reach of legal protection for the community, but also creates new challenges such as overlapping jurisdictions and suboptimal application of procedural law.
